Does It's Job . . . But Does Put Out Some Heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two weeks in and it does the job. I'm using this mainly to keep my expensive guitars which I have hanging on an interior wall in my 160 square foot music room within a 45%-55% humidity range.
Clean design, easy to use, three fan speeds (I only have to use the lowest on) basically set it and forget it. Auto-shut off when full and not hard to empty bucket. Selectable humidity settings in 5% increments and does a good job keeping it there. Does produce a little noise and you can hear the condenser kicks in.
The other thing you should know is the byproduct of dehumidification is heat, and that heats goes into the room which raises the temperature of the room (which consequently helps reduce the humidity). But I found I need to keep the door to my music room open or it'll get uncomfortably warm before too long. This is all in addition to running the central air conditioning. I keep my central air at 72-73 and the temp in my music room will be around 76-77. I don't know how this product would work if you don't also have central a/c. I imagine it would still dehumidify at least the immediate area but would work harder and require more frequent emptying.

Great Little Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one. My first was for the basement and it works well and is efficient. This one is for a crawlspace and is used for hot humid summer days. On low you can hear it in the room above the crawlspace. Excellent buy.

Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit for a remodeled basement/ garage to help in controlling the humidity level of a new living surface. This has been a life saver. We have the option of using a drain hose from the back of the unit for automatic draining or by doing a manual drain of the bucket. Living in Georgia, you never know when the humidity is going to jump way up, we are truly sub tropical now. The unit has now made this space livable and comfortable. This unit does well in a little 600 square foot apartment and the noise level is very minor. We sleep, work, relax and watch TV all in this area with no noise disturbance. Its great, just a little white noise. Would and will purchase this or the equivalent should we need another one in the upstairs house.

Does the job magnificently!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does not overheat the air to reduce humidity. Very efficient. Easy to use. Must be elevated above the outflow hose port to use continuous drain hose, otherwise it will leak and not allow the water to properly drain out.
