Perfect Size and Functionality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for use in our 26 foot travel trailer. Winter camping (or glamping) on the coast involves a constant battle with humidity. One strategy that we've told about is to leave all of our wet stuff outside, but that's just not practical. Our solution was this Frigidaire dehumidifier. It works like a champ! When we're in a site without utilities, we turn it on in the morning when we fire up our generator at 8:00 and by 11:00 or 12:00, the humidity is into the 30s from any overnight high in the 70s to 80s and all of the interior condensation is gone. It's perfect for our two-legged and four-legged family!

Compact, quiet and smart

It’s quiet because I can entertain without talking louder and watch tv at normal volume. It runs efficiently using the multi settings and very easy to empty. Most of all it is very reasonably priced. I would recommend the Frigidaire 22 pint dehumidifier to everyone!

Does the job, very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a dehumidifier from another brand that had been recalled. This unit does not have a pump or remote control. For my use, have no necessity for those features. The first thing I noticed when I plugged it in and started it is how quiet it is comparison to the previous dehumidifier I had. Not by intent, this also has a feature that works perfectly for my situation. It seems that dehumidifiers push the "exit" air out in assorted directions. This unit (if you are facing the front) pushes air out of the left side. There seems to be no standard direction for which direction the air is pushed away from any of the manufacturers. It was just fortunate for me that the left is the ideal direction. IMO, consideration for which direction the air is removed will depend on where you place a dehumidifier. Don't want to locate it in a direction where the air removed is blocked by a wall or other obstruction. I am also using a short hose to drain the unit and that attaches at the rear. Nothing complicated, just remove a hose cap and attach at that point. Be aware that some units drain from different directions. Again, this unit and the rear connection is ideal for me. I have only had this online for about 3 weeks at this time. No issues or complaints about how to operate or maintain.

Keeps the basement dry, and a great value
