Dry Basement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My basement was so damp after having a pipe leaking down there and it was smelling like a basement so bad I could smell it upstairs. After a couple of weeks of being full everyday it finally is not running full-time and it no longer smells like a basement in my basement!

Leaks

This is the second time I did a review. The unit works really well except it leaks where the drain cap is attached to the unit, like a zip tie type thing. I also found that water collects in the drain pipe even when you have the cap on and are using the tank. Take the cap off and water gushes out.I sent an email well over two weeks ago ( Nov 2020) and have not

Good item except questionable accuracy of humidity readings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit runs quietly and does what it is supposed to do. It is easy to program, but I question the accuracy of the humidity readings at times. For example, sometimes it will still be running when the displayed reading is lower than the level I have set for the allowable humidity.

Keeps my basement dry !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dehumidifier for our motorhome, I liked the idea of being able to connect a hose for the drain and not have to go to the motorhome to empty the bucket, so far it has done a good job of keeping the humidity in check and the drain works great. On the plus side it puts out enough heat that it helps in the winter in keeping things from freezing.
