Just what we wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our basement was not wet, just smelled musty. This unit collected a full bucket of water every day even at low fan speed and has cleared the air well. Pleased that we can run on the lowest speed, it will last longer and makes very little noise

Quiet, Sleek & Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a hot, wet summer in the Northeast which led us to discover that the bottom floor of our new home gets downright damp at times. I knew I was in trouble when I picked the dog bed up of the floor and saw mildew growing under it... Thus the hunt for a dehumidifier began
I consulted NY Times Wirecutter for "the best" and was led to this model. I don't disagree! Our master bedroom is two rooms and a bathroom, and this completely changed the climate in them! We keep it set to 60% humidity and it does the rest. The room is dry and pleasant. Unlike other models, this one doesn't wake me up when it starts either. We're very happy with it and I'm comfortable recommending it to anyone.
It's also easy to move around. It's not light, but it rolls like a champ

Adequate appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this roughly a month ago to replace another brand that lasted six or so years. The exhaust is warmer than the previous unit but it has been doing a nice job at keeping the humidity where it’s supposed to.

small, quiet and effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my unfinished basement which was at about 69% humidity and it now done to about 50%. It's amazing how much water it is collecting. The water container is easy to remove and the carrying handle is helpful. We bought an external pump so it can drain automatically to the sink but have not connected it yet. The unit itself is quiet, the controls are intuitive, and it's easy to move around. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.
