[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My finished basement is damp and cold.I purchased this to see if it would help and am pleased with the performance. The area is very comfortable now. I haven't cleaned the filter yet so not sure how that is.

Reliable Dehumidifier

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We placed this dehumidifier in our bedroom and office area of our house since our house was reading 55-65% humidity and we had condensation on the windows (cold outside). The unit has been running well for a couple weeks now. We usually keep it in my office during the night and then in our bedroom during the day. The noise level is comparable to a window AC unit I would say. The dehumidifier has brought our humidity down to 35-40% and we empty it once a day, and it's not even full then. We are happy with our purchase!

My all-time favorite appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My studio apartment has been wonderfully transformed from a musty, mildew-ridden, unhealthy space to a comfortable, fresh-smelling, cleaner/less dust, pleasant environment in less than a week.
Bonuses:
1. I use my AC less than ever before – set at higher temps – because the humidity has been lowered to a consistently-maintained 35%-40% (love the custom humidity control) My electric bill has remained the same!
2. Quiet, efficient – clean, modern design. Effortless to move around. I’ve owned dehumidifiers before – all are clunky, noisy and inefficient in comparison. It has an automatic shut-off when the bucket’s full – I don’t mind manually emptying it (I’ll eventually add a hose for continuous draining).
3. I’m sleeping better, sounder and longer.
4. Living in South Florida means bugs – just a fact; I’m happy to report there’s been a noticeable reduction!
Summary: I could not be happier with my purchase. Thank you, Frigidaire!
