[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this as an "equivalent" warranty replacement for a 2.5 year old 50 pint model. Though it works as advertised, it seems less powerful, struggling to get humidity lower than 55% and cycling frequently – it's in the same location where the old one worked easily.

Hello, Liz123456! Thank you for your review. The dehumidifier will run until the desired humidity level has been reached. Once, the desired level has been reached the compressor will cycle off, but the fan will continue to run until the. The compressor will cycle on and off as needed to maintain the desired humidity level. Hopefully, this helps. Thought it was hard to get it at the right setting…

Unfortunately trying to contact Frigidaire was quite an experience. Finally got someone to help out and got it working correctly. Room is comfortable and dry! Hoping it lasts as long as my old one which lasted 20 years but I guess I’m dreaming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had the dehumidifier for about three weeks, so far I am very happy with it's performance. It replaces another Frigidaire Dehumidifier, which ran 24/7 for about six years until it began to leak.
The only improvement I could think of is to have a handle to pull out the drain tank.

Does the job

This quiet, easy to clean unit has brought it down to a consistent 52% without having to run continuously. Drains via hose to my basement sump lift. Has solved my problem quietly and inexpensively.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had for approximately two weeks. Seems to operate efficiently. Compared to last unit I had which was from another manufacturer, it is substantially more quiet. But still, it makes more noise than I would like. Time will tell as to reliability and economy.
