Works exactly how it should!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this for about two weeks as we just moved to Florida and it’s pretty humid right now. All the features work great, I like to turn it on near the bedrooms after dinner so it’s a comfortable atmosphere for sleeping. It does fill up within 2 days of average use which is expected. But it is super easy to empty. The product works exactly how it should and we are satisfied.

Small profile and works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier is a small profile and within a few hours, brought the humidity in a fieldstone basement from 70% down to 50%. Works well at maintaining a low humidity and with the tank size, would require emptying every 2-3 days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago because the master bedroom seems to always be damp. The bedroom also constantly had a stale smell since we often leave it closed up to keep the dogs out. Since buying this the dampness has gone away and so has the smell! We can’t leave it running all the time due to not liking it on while we sleep (it’s quiet, but we like silence to sleep.) so we only run in intermittently. I am so happy with this investment! It’s been pulling about a bucket of water out of the room every 3-4 days while only running a few hours a day! What a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use to think all dehumidifiers where loud and noisy, after doing much research and looking thru reviews and videos, I finally settled on Frigidaire! Honestly you hardly ever notice it running unless. It has good styling and looks, wheels for easy move ability, and convenient drain hose hookup. Also, the best feature is the energy savings we have noticed!

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time I go downstairs the unit is on. I put a humidistat downstairs to make sure the unit is reading correctly. The unit says 45% (which is what it is set for) and it stays on. The humidistat reads 42%. If it is set for 45% and the unit reads 45% and the humidistat reads 42% - why is the unit always on? It then turns off for about 2 minutes and then comes right back on again! It is spring time - what’s going to happen when it’s hot and humid out? The unit will burn out from overuse?

As designed the dehumidifier will take samples of the surrounding humidity level periodically to ensure that the room maintains the humidity level set. This is when you will hear the fan turning on every so often to complete this task. You may see a slight variance in a humidity when using multiple devices.
