Replacement Humidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this new Dehumidifier to replace an older model Frigidaire. That model worked very well for about 4 years but then it died for reasons unknown. We decided to replace it with this newer model. The setup was very easy, and it is now doing its magic, dehumidifying a basement room that always gets damp. If it lasts as long as its predecessor, we’ll be happy!

Runs all the time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement for my 50 pint that was under warranty. The 50 pint did a good job but broke down after 2 seasons. Should have been replaced by frigidaireith another 50 pint but instead replaced it with this 35 pint that now runs constantly. Never will buy a Frigidaire product again!

Thanks for sharing your feedback and making us aware of your recent experience, BigOW. By default the Dehumidifier is set to Continuous Mode. A tip that can help alleviate this issue would be to use the humidity button or knob to set a RH% higher level. It is the ratio of the current absolute humidity to the highest possible absolute humidity (which depends on the current air temperature). Working great....for now

Why don't you people improve the quality and stop spending a fortune replacing units under warranty.
