Runs a lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement under warranty for a 50-pint unit that i was told was equivalent. This 35-pint unit runs all the time and my basement is a least 10 degrees warmer. It also seems louder that the old one even on the low fan setting. I assume that if it had been replaced with the larger capacity like i had before, it would run less.

The dehumidifier will run according to the RH% the dehumidifier is set for, also check to make sure the Continuous Mode has not been selected. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this because the house we are renting is humid. The basement would read up to 73% humidity and now this unit can get the number in the high 40’s. The air feels much better now. The unit does produce some noise and air that blows out is not hot but not cool. But we don’t need the unit right next to us in a bedroom or tv room. I like that it kicks off if it reaches humidity setting goal. You can tie it into a drain source if you want, but we just manually empty daily.

Very user friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for several weeks and it has been great. I manually empty out the water bucket, but it is easy to remove and carry it. After about a week it started shutting itself off for short periods as it got the humidity level under control in our apartment. Removing and cleaning the filter is easy, although the directions aren't the greatest on removing the filter. It required seperating it from the removable cover which is not mentioned, but it is flexible and comes off fairly easy. It was still very clean when the filter warning light came on. The wheels are great because we move it between rooms daily.

Quiet, efficient, easy to use and maintain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to help handle the damp feeling our basement can get during the summer months. This is the quietest large-space humidifier I've ever "almost" heard! Our family dart-board lane is just five feet away, and this unit runs without guests even being aware of it.
I was able to run a drain hose from the unit, through a wall, and then down the AC drain, so there's no issue with having to empty the collector bucket (although that was a simple task before installing the hose to the built-in connector).
The filter is very easy to access and clean.
Thoughtfulness and quality are immediately obvious!
