Dank Basement Cure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently moved into an older home with a smaller dark and moist basement. It appeared the previous owner had never used a dehumidifier. Have a hose draining to the sump and and the humidity function set, only has been running for a week, but everything is working great and the basement immediately feels drier and smells better.

Works well - 35 pint unit replaces an older 50 pint unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced an older Frigidaire 50 pint unit. It seems to work well so far. In case you are wondering, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) changed the way they test and define dehumidifiers for performance in the beginning of 2020. The new test is at a cooler temperature that is more realistic for a basement, so it's a more accurate test. In case you are wondering, yes, this 35 pint unit is equivalent to a older 50 pint unit sold prior to 2020 - in fact it has a slightly larger water tank than my previous unit.

Bought and paid for a 50 pint dehumidifier finally got replacement and it is a 35 pint....not real happy.50 pints were more than 35 pints when i bought it.
