Works well, but suffered some damage during shipping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a warranty replacement of a 50 pint dehumidifier with a 35 pint dehumidifier. It was not an exact replacement of the original model. When the box arrived, I noticed that both the front and back portion of the carton were bent inward. Inside the box, the top styrofoam piece of protection was broken into three sections. The black top of the unit does not fit tightly onto the rest of the unit. The two sections have about 3/16 inch separation along the entire front of the unit. They are supposed to snap tightly into place. This does not seem to affect the operation of the unit, but it doesn't look right.

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few weeks ago to replace another Fridgidaire dehumidifier. This one works just as well to rid my lower level of humidity. I connected a hose so that it drains. This is easier than emptying the bucket. Happy with this so far!

Dry Basement

Does what it is suppose to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My prior dehumidifier started getting the FO warning this year right away. Turns out it is not uncommon. I called and after taking a few photos and cutting the cord, it was deemed under warranty. The new one is 35 pints as opposed to 50 pints like the old one but it does have a hose attachment so that works. So far so good,

However, it will cycle on and off the test the humidity to ensure it is still with in compliance with the level you have preset.
