Replacement unit

Very similar but this one is a little more quiet operation. It is great that the company stands behind their product, I would buy again,

Less humidity is nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Air in our finished bsmt is much better now. The whole house AC doesn’t take as much humidity out of the basement as it does elsewhere. The dehumidifier runs quietly. It removes enough water out of the air to fill its tank every 24 hours....so putting a hose on it to direct water to the floor drain is quite handy.

Replacement Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this model as a replacement for my previous dehumidifier. I like the hose connection in the back of the unit. It is easier to hook a hose to the unit with out having an adapter that plugs up like my previous unit. The dehumidifier is very quiet. I have my office in the same room as the unit and it does not both much for phone conversations and meetings. The noise is surprisingly like having just a fan running. There is a humidity setting on top but its not very accurate. I need to set the humidity about 10% higher than what I want the room humidity. I like the filter reminder light that come on when the filter needs cleaning. I am not good about taking care of the unit. I pretty much just let it run and look at it if it needs to be cleaned.

Easy to set up and maintain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this unit For my small basement about a month ago after a lot of research. It has lived up to all expectations. I used the bucket initially and then switched to a hose attachment so that it drains into my sump pump. The humidity level dropped dramatically within 12 hours and the musty, mildew smell dissipated as well. Cleaning the filter every 2 weeks is simple to do. So far I cannot think of any negatives! Very happy !
