Shouldn’t have waited as long as I did

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier is far exceeding my expectations. Bought for the basement, it has really changed the climate down there. I used dessicant products in the past to try to control the humidity but this is hands down better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Humidifier works well. Using in humid South Carolina. Ran almost continuously during a tropical storm. A Little louder than expected, abd produced more heat than we were prepared for, but took out the extreme moisture.

Water Bucket is crap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this unit yesterday to replace a 5 year old unit that stopped working. New unit is nearly identical to the old unit in size and capacity and the new unit does its job of pulling moisture out of the air. However the water bucket on the new model is awful compared to the older unit. I empty the water bucket into a sink in my basement after it fills up each time. Pouring water out of the new unit's bucket is a nightmare as there is very little open room for the water to be poured out of the bucket. I have spilled water on the floor every time I have emptied the new unit. Rarely had the problem with the old unit and could even pour the water into a plastic milk jug to use for watering our plants. No way that I could hit that small of an opening with this new bucket. Also the bucket arrived with a broken water level meter. The old unit used a floating ball that was simple and worked great. The new unit has a floating rod that rides between 2 slots and mine arrived with the top of each slot broken and the rod won't stay within the slots. I hope I can get a new bucket to replace the broken one. I also wish that the designers would use the product to see how hard they have made it on their customers.
