Awesome Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] purchased this to replace a smaller capacity dehumidifier. I am most impressed with the size of the water capture tank, it is huge. We leave it running constantly in our walkout basement at the cottage and it has performed superbly so far.

Great Dehumidifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a finished basement that is about 760 sq/ft and in Spring/Summer gets very humid so we have to have a dehumidifier to keep things dry & prevent mold. The dehumidifier we needed to replace was a Kenmore 35 pint which lasted for about 10yrs & worked very well. It gave out this year so needed a replacement. We did research & found the Frigidaire 35 pint had good reviews so we chose that one. It is a bit bigger than the Kenmore but it seemed comparable to other brands so guess they just make them bigger now. The bucket seems to hold a lot more water which can become quite heavy so we empty it out when it is halfway or 3/4 full. We have had this dehumidifier running 24/7 for about 3 weeks now and it works Great! We have it set at 45 to keep it nice and dry. When we turn it off to empty bucket, after only a few minutes, the humidity is 50 & goes up quickly since it has been so humid outside.. it goes back down to 45 after a few minutes. Without the dehumidifier the humidity is way above 50 and you can feel it. So far this dehumidifier is working well & hopefully gives us many more years of a nice dry basement.

Works Like We Hoped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dehumidifier unit after checking reviews and rating from both rating companies and personal reviewers. This unit replaces a smaller one that we had in our finished basement area. The old unit was smaller and did not last any time at all. This Frigidaire is sturdy and has been working mightily since we set it up shortly after delivery. It runs for 2-3 days before it needs to be emptied, is quiet and seems very efficient. The water reservoir has a handle and a splash guard which is great. When it is full, it is a little heavy but still manageable. So far we are very pleased with this new dehumidifier.

Dehumidifies like a champ!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first dehumidifier. Now I wish I had it earlier in life. I was amazed at how much moisture it pulled out of the air in our basement bathroom. It is very easy to use. The water bucket has a cover to prevent messes when emptying. I allows for a hose to empty directly into a floor drain. I don't have a drain handy, but this is a real cool feature as well. The room feels so much more comfortable since this purchase! Highly reccomended.

35 Pint Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose to try the Fridgidaire Dehumidifier as our last 2 models from a different manufacturer only lasted 5 years collectively. So far, this one is working great. The only disappointment is it doesn't automatically shut off once the desired humidity level is reached. It only shuts off if the water bin is full.

Pulls out the water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replace a larger dehumidifier with this unit.Took it out of the box, connected the hose already in place and turned it on. I use this to keep my basement dry and prevent a musty smell. I set it for 45 % humidity and it runs a constant stream of water into my sump. It cycles off and on and the humidity rises and fall. Been operating for over a month and no problems. My last Frigidare lasted 12 years , so I expect a long usefull life fron this one.

Meets all expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up and use, has been easily keeping the main floor of our (~1200 sq ft) house at 50% humidity. Very easy to empty the tank and change settings, easy to give it a wipe-down with a damp cloth to keep clean.
