[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 complaints. 1. It heats up the room when running.
2. When it stops the entire unit jolts and the noise is so loud it wakes us up or startles us if we are awake and in the room. It also never reaches the requested humidity level of 45%.
We have the air on whenever inside temp is above 74 degrees and run the fan 100%. We have one upstairs and one downstairs.

Works well but gets very hot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does the job of dehumidifying well, but the space gets very hot (10 degrees higher in temperature) and the fan is very loud on highest setting. Not ideal in the summer.

The amount of moisture it pulls from the air is amazing. I’m using it in a large finished basement, that is now so much more comfortable to be in. No buyers regret here!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used in a basement in a house with central air. The basement was feeling a bit damp and this humidifier made that whole area nice again. Had to empty it a few times at the beginning and now empty it ~ once a week. Complements the Frigidaire humidifier in the garage which has worked well for many years. Recommend..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier is solid and gets the room to the set humidity within a reasonable time, comparing to other major brands. The sensor must be also very sensitive because it takes a long time for the fan and compressor to shut off once the room reaches the set humidity, and the dehumidifier restarts fairly quickly. Otherwise, it's an okay unit. Just don't expect it to run silently in the living room next to the TV. Leave it in the bedroom.
