smart (wifi connected) is the best. no hassle of going downstairs to check from time to time. it's little heavier to move around the house but you could still.

Whole hose effective

I have it set up adjacent to a return air duct on my heat pump effectively conditioning both floors of my 2 storey home. I have directed the effluent to the same effluent pump serving my heat pump. With the auto on/off feature, I am able to maintain a comfortable humidity throughout the summer months.
