DO NOT PURCHASE - EC ERROR CODE

DO NOT PURCHASE! I purchased a unit that failed with an EC Code. They replaced once and it failed again. They won't replace again even though 3 different agents told me one was being sent. They lied for 2 months. Google EC Error Codes on this unit and you will see that they have a major issue with their de-humidifiers.

We're disappointed to learn that you've experienced issues with your dehumidifier; this is certainly not the ownership experience we would want you to have. An F0/EC code may appear due to excessive outside temperatures or insufficient voltage. Please ensure that the temperature in the room is between 41 and 96 degrees Fahrenheit and that the outlet voltage is at 115V(+/-10%). If it is plugged into an extension cord, it may be losing voltage. I would also recommend unplugging the appliance for at least 30 seconds to reset the computer if you have not done so already. If the error continues and/or the dehumidifier is no longer pulling water, you can reconnect with us so we can review some other available options at that time. Works great until warranty expires

This unit worked flawlessly for about 18 months then stopped working properly & wouldn’t dehumidify any longer. This was my third Frigidaire dehumidifier in the last 5 years & all of them quit working with the same problem. I will not be purchasing another Frigidaire dehumidifier.

No Push Notifications

The dehumidifier does an excellent job of pulling humidity out of our large basement, but there's one significant flaw - while the unit does have WiFi, it doesn't send push notifications when the bucket is full. And to be frank, that's the entire reason I selected this "smart" dehumidifier. To see notifications, you have to open the app and check for them, which entirely defeats the purpose. I'd really love to know if Frigidaire is planning to update their app to have push notifications. If so, this would absolutely be a 5-star product.

Worked for less than 14 months...

Worked well for the first year but completely failed just outside of the 1 year warranty with just over 13 months of use.
This dehumidifier was purchased because it consistently gets good reviews but I really expected it to last much longer. This is one of the most expensive dehumidifiers of it's type/size but the service life is very poor.
Looks like I will be out of pocket for a new one and it won't be a Frigidaire.

Quit working after 15 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like a lot of others said, quits working just outside of warranty.. EC error and frozen coils. Garbage product.. Adding Frigidaire to my long list of appliance brands I will never buy again. Starting to run out of brands to choose from because they ALL make garbage appliances.

Will FAIL after ONE YEAR (just after warranty expires)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked for just over 1 year, then failed (icing up, despite proper room temp, gentle handling, and clean filter & coils). Indicates loss of refrigerant due to manufacturing defect. Frigidaire will not repair or replace.

UTTER GARBAGE -- do not buy !

Utter garbage. It quit working after 14 months. The warranty was 12 months, and Frigidaire would not do ANYTHING for me.

App and wifi features don't work

The app is poorly designed, forgets your login information and requires you to register with all of your personal details before allowing configuration. I have to turn off my local wifi to use the app at all, and the appliance keeps dropping off my network. I'm not a technical neophyte either. Disappointed that I paid extra for 'smart' features that just don't work.
