Wifi Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dehumidifier works great, pulls out water efficiently and quickly to bring down the room humidity. I’m currently using the hose in the back to drain the water into a drain but also tried the bucket which holds quite a bit and is easy to dump when full. The unit shuts off when it’s full as well making it easy to leave on while away. The wifi is an exceptionally nice setting. Having control while even out of the state makes controlling home humidity levels so easy, along with the hose for drainage. Fairly quiet, none are silent. Overall best dehumidifier I’ve owned and highly recommend.

Perfect for my use-case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumidifier because it has wifi connectivity and I can monitor the humidity from my phone, and turn on if the humidity gets too high in my living room. We use an evaporative cooler to cool our CO home, and when we are away we don't leave every window open at all times -- so the humidity can get reasonably high if the cooler is running constantly. The dehumidifier generates some heat, but not enough to counteract the cooler -- it also does not run constantly, and we use it only when the humidity gets to a 'sticky' level. So far, it has worked well. I am giving it 4 stars because the app is not as intuitive as I would like, and there doesn't appear to be a way to have it turn on automatically when the room hits a certain humidity level. I have no interest in running a hose from it to drain, since it is not constantly on -- but others may find emptying the pan to be annoying if it needs to run more often. Doesn't look too bad, either.

Third time lucky?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our third Frigidaire humidifier in three years--each one lasts just over a year then dies right after the warranty ends. We keep buying them because they are quieter than the competition (we use it in our finished basement so we need it to be quiet) and they work well while they are working. This one does make a weird electrical buzzing noise when the compressor starts running, which we are hoping is normal. It has a good capacity and is fairly easy to empty.

Effective, quiet, high quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested the Frigidaire Gallery 50pint versus a comparable GE model. The Frigidaire is quieter overall, with better construction materials and build quality, and the capacitive touch controls are more refined. The built-in hygrometer is pretty accurate and setting to 45%RH keeps my large living room between 44-48%. The wifi and Alexa/Assistant integration are actually quite useful for home automation control.
