Great Upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few rental properties that need humidity controlled and have a few of the older models of this. The lock controls are great on this model. I purchased the new version of this that doesn't have wifi, but it didn't have the lock control and I returned it and got this one. I need the lock control so people don't change the settings. I didn't think I wanted the wifi feature, which is why I originally purchased the other version, but the wifi is actually pretty useful. I wish the integration with Google Home had more features other than being able to turn it on and off through Google Home, but the Frigidaire app has all of the features and works well. This is definitely a great product and works great especially with the continuous draining so I don't have to deal with emptying the water.

Still great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Dehumidifier is great! it maintains the humidity in the room it is located in. Wifi Features work for my needs. I also own an older model (FFAD7033R1) of this humidifier that is still working great! I wanted another dehumidifier for my second floor. This model is quieter and the air temperature that comes out is "cooler" where as the old model's air comes out warm. I'm very happy with this unit and glad I stuck with Frigidaire.

WiFi function show bucket full?

I just set the dehumidifier up and connecgted via wifi. I'm surprised that the app does not seem to provide inidications or notifications when the bucket is full.

Good upgraded features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am replacing an older similar model. I can't get the wifi to work, but the unit itself is fabulous. Better container holding water and enjoy the float showing water capacity. Quieter unit and just plain great.

Does it’s job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two weeks ago and it does it’s job. When the tank is full, the WiFi linked app sends an alert. The tank is so full though that it’s impossible to take out and empty without spilling onto the floor. The machine started making a rattling noise now.

A bit loud - but it works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the past couple of years, we have started getting a little water and general dampness in the basement. No major flooding, but some throw rugs have gotten wet and other items left on the floor. Even after cleaning up there remained an odor and damp 'feeling'. We also have cat boxes down there and the odors somehow made each other worse.
I purchased the Frigidaire 50 Pint Dehumidifier w WiFi and hooked it up with a drain hose going to our French drain. I ran it for a week straight on continuous mode which also enables the ionizer as well. Within a few days, the smells were gone and you could feel the difference down there.
I have used the app/wifi from the humidifier. It is easy to set up and simple to use. It tells you which settings you are on and the room's current humidity. I eventually turned off continuous and set a humidity level with the app and it worked perfectly.
I would not want this thing in my bedroom. It is too loud for me, even to use as white noise. Overall though, for a basement it is perfect.
