Good performance. Wifi works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier is working well for my application. The wifi was easy to connect and is working very well. I have only one complaint - The owners manual says in the Auto mode "the unit will automatically set a comfortable humidity and fan speed according to the indoor environment". What does this mean? Is a specific relative humidity maintained? Does the relative humidity vary depending on the dew point? The function of the auto mode needs a better explanation.

DeHumidifier 50 pint wifi enabled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a dehumidifier with the 50-pint capacity wifi enabled. This dehumidifier strips so must moisture out of the air. My daughter has seasonal allergies and asthma. Since buying this unit she hasn't had one episode. I am glad I purchased this unit.

Very Nice Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had a dehumidifier in my basement. My old unit was not working well and based on a Wirecutter review, I selected this. It's really a nice product. I have it draining into my sump hole so it runs unattended.
The controls are easy to use and easy to understand. I had no trouble connecting it to Wi-Fi. (Even if you have dual speed Wi-Fi with 2.4 and 5 GHz, you only need to turn off the 5 GHz during installation. Once it connects, you can turn the higher speed band back on.) It's very quiet and I cannot hear it except when I'm in the basement.) It's really very convenient to check settings and performance remotely on the app.

Easy setup and works great!

Going from not having one to this workhorse makes it clear to me that we needed one to help dehumidify our basement. Setup was a breeze and from there I have barely had to pay attention to it (I have a hose draining it). I like the app and all the options/settings this thing has! My basement feels and smells so much better!
