Cold air 24/7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great A/C just not enough for my 600 sq foot shop! I live in South Carolina and use this to cool our shop. It will keep my well insulated 10 foot tall ceiling shop at 70 overnight and 75 to 78 depending on humidity outside. This is far more comfortable than just fans blowing 95 degree humid air around but this A/C unit is not going to keep your 600 sq foot area cold just barely comfortable at best. If you are trying to cool 600 plus sq/foot unfortunately a mini split is a must!!! This unit will disappoint! Have not used the heat yet, I will update in the cool season on its heating!

Very effective & efficient

I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and it cools down the space very quickly and very effectively. Minimal noise and minimal effect on our utility bill. Terrific purchase! Well worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lot of experience with portable a/c units: I've had two of them for 15 years. The Frigidaire is smaller than the one it replaced and also quieter. It is doing a fine job in a very difficult room (14' ceiling). It almost looks like modern furniture rather than an appliance. I'm happy with it and, when that other old one goes, I will probably buy another.
Of course, nothing is perfect: The 'window kit' requires a little fussing to make it sit right; it's not rocket science but everybody's windows are a little different. The air louvers go up-and-down instead of side-to-side, which isn't a problem but it's a little weird. Lastly, the instructions are not real clear about exactly when and how the water drains out (...it comes with two hoses and has three drains but I ended up using only one of each).

13,000 BTU Portable Room air Conditioner with Heat Pump and Dehumidifier Mode

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent air conditioner, I have a large room, above the garage and it cools perfectly, I set the temperature and it always stay 1 degree above what the air conditioner is set to. Haven't tried the heat yet as it is still hot in my area, but I'm sure it will work good too. Wish I had purchased it sooner. Would highly recommend.

Amazing AC unit

The unit it quieter compared to others we tried out, and not too heavy to love. It came with everything we needed to set up and great directions. I highly recommend this unit.

Not adequate for garages

Bought this unit to cool my garage, but the summer heat in Las Vegas is too excessive. It was 112 inside when I started the unit, hoping to cool the garage it to about 80. Unit ran for hours, no significant progress.

Not Suitable for Garage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this unit is not suitable for my garage in Las Vegas. The heat is too excessive. Starting temperature in garage was 110F. Unit ran continuously for about four hours, but no progress.
