Started out decent...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and it worked fine the first week or two, but now it has started making rapid clicking noises when the compressor is about to come on. It will also will sometimes kick on to full fan and compressor speed, and then immediately back down to low, then right back to full a few more times before going steady. Not a great noise to hear at 2am. It's concerning that this unit should have issues out need repairs this quickly. We will be returning this and switching to an LG model.

Easy to install and cools super quick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 4 bedroom house with all bedrooms up stairs. I have grown children and grandchildren who frequently visit me. At night I like my bedroom super cool, 65 degrees or below so I can sleep better. But the rest of the family freezes and are more comfortable around 72. So I decided to try this out and just super cool my room. Wow! I found that if I leave the bedroom door open about 1/3 the way this unit will cool down my bedroom (252 sq. ft.) from 72 to 62 degrees in about 15 minutes. This installs easily in the bathroom window, but I actually installed the exhaust through an access panel in my closet that leads outside, much like like your clothes dryer does. I also found that by leaving the bedroom door partially open the main house AC system takes probably 99% of the moisture out of the air so I have yet to get any noteworthy moisture buildup in the unit to drain.
