Well-built and relatively quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works quite well the thermostat is very responsive quiet for a portable air conditioner.
The only change I would make is that the fan continues to run constantly and the thermostat only controls the compressor and condenser fan.

We use our Frigidaire portable a/c unit in a wine storage shed. It works perfectly. We recently had outside temperatures of over 100° for a week and one day at 116°. I was able to monitor conditions in the shed remotely by wifi and was able to adjust the thermostat as necessary. It worked perfectly.

Does the job so well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our whole hvac system needs replacing and right now it’s just not in the budget so we got this portable unit. Let me tell you it has been a lifesaver!! Not only was it easy to install but it does a great job ant keeping us cool in this 100+ degree weather! I also LOVE that I can control it from anywhere with my cellphone! Also love that it reminds me to clean the filters! This is one of the BEST purchases I’ve ever made!

Great during the day, could be improved for nighttime use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] AC is pretty strong, keeps single room cool. AC not great for night time. Machine turns on and off to regulate temperature which is a noise disturbance when sleeping (need a on, low setting). Also default has a blue light on. You can turn it off but the light is default so every time you turn off machine and turn back on light turns back on, needs a setting to remember to keep light off.

As Advertised!

I did extensive research before deciding on this model. Two of our biggest concerns were how quiet this portable A/C would operate in our bedroom and how well it could actually cool this 400 sq. ft. room with a high ceiling. In the two weeks that we have had the unit in use it's been as advertised on both concerns. We have had many portable air conditioners over the years and this Frigidaire 13,000 btu A/C beats them all for quietness, ability to quickly cool this large space, the quality of its construction, and ease of use. I have never written a product review on anyy of our many portable A/C units over the years but this product deserves one.

Cools well but constantly disconnects from mobile app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cools the room just fine, but the reason I bought it was for the ability to connect remotely and do scheduling. The app was a pain to set up but it seemed like it was working. However, the remote scheduling doesn't always work. I've set a schedule and it just doesn't always do it. Even more annoying, the app loses access to the AC at least once a week, and I have to restart the machine to get it working. But if you're trying to connect remotely you can't do that until you get home so you arrive to a hot house, just like any other AC.
If you want a standard AC this is fine. If you want phone connectability, it's a disaster. I saw similar reviews and just ignored them in hopes it would work for me and that was a mistake. Wish it worked.

Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with us. We would certainly like to work with you on the above concerns. They are not the norm. and not how the app was designed to perform. If you find that the air conditioner is losing connection and that you are not able to control the air conditioner while you are away from home, usually this would indicate the air conditioner does not have a strong connection to your router at its current location. When controlling remotely, the app sends a command through our cloud to your router first, not to the air conditioner directly. Also, we should deep dive into your scheduler setting to determine when the air conditioner is not responding. These concerns should be easily remedied with the support of our help.

Do Not But for “Smart” features

But if your buying to add to a Smart home or take advantage of the smart features, the app and WiFi are both poorly made and executed. Can remember the AC for its primary use but do not buy if your planning to use it in your smart home

Very quiet and efficient
