Reliable so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using our unit for about 3 weeks and so far it seems to work well, cooling large areas even during unusually hot days (90 degrees for us). The fan function is also great when its not hot enough to need A/C and the ability to control it via the app is extremely helpful. Sleek design also helps since it is large. Only drawback is that after only a few weeks the filters apparently need to be cleaned, which seems to involve a screw driver....not sure why something that needs to be cleaned that frequently couldn't have easier access, but we still need to investigate this. Overall have found it to be a great product.

Pleased with purchase

Being able to control the device via the phone app is saving me money daily because I can begin a cooling cycle as I am walking out the door at work. I return to a cooled home and I did not run the unit all day in an empty house.

My new ac system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the model from my local appliance store. It was a little more expensive than I wanted but the features just made it a no brainer. Brought it home and got it all set up. If you have tall windows you may need to buy an extender to make the exhaust fit in your window. My windows are taller than most. Works great. love the remote start feature in the app. Overall very happy with my purchase

I think the machine is nice.. the APP is horrible. They in japan.. they destroyed a good A/c unit. By not making the app function. 1. Wifi drops(still after update) 2. The new app update.. keep requesting to update it's self.( even when u already updated it) 3. App will not allow you to keep your settings in place once you leave the app!?( if you set options to do anything if you leave app they change) 4. The auto settings will Not kick on the compressor too cool the air no matter how low you set the temp!!( so you have put it in COOL mode/ then it gets too cold terrible app) 5. The sleep mode will not work in the cool mode and it will not, turn off the lights/buttons to dark.. so at night you can have a dark bedroom ( this is a app easy fix) 6. The Japanese company can easily fix these things through the app. The frigidaire A/c is no more than the APP if that is terrible the machine is not worth it! Or Any frigidaire ghpc132ab1 units.. i will NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM FRIGIDAIRE THAT HAS WIFI OR THIS APP. They used to be a great company before they was bought out.. now the brand is TERRIBLE PRODUCTS..... afford it.. read the real reviews of All. More negative then good.. stay away. Panasonic makes great products.. be smart we are Americans do not buy items that the company does not listen to the complaints..!
