Great Product Overall But plastic Wheel broke in first week

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall happy with the main functionality but one of the plastic wheels broke on the unit in the first week making it difficult to move around. Had the unit on a solid hardwood surface as well so am assuming the wheel must have been defective.

I'm Cool Now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SF Bay Area has a few heat waves during the summer. We rarely have humidity, so that's a non-issue. I bought this portable AC unit for my (upstairs) master bedroom to use during scorching heat waves. I have cathedral ceilings upstairs with no insulation between my bedroom ceiling and the roof...this makes for a very hot bedroom when we're having a heat wave.
This unit has a feature that allows me to turn it on when I'm heading home from work which takes about an hour. Once home, and after changing out of my work clothes, I tend to stay downstairs until bedtime. By then, the room is much cooler and more comfortable.
Noise level: The day I hooked it up was well over 100F, so I kept it on when I went to bed because the room was still quite warm. It's too loud for me even on the lowest setting, so by turning it on when I'm still at work to start the cooling down process makes the room bearable. Luckily the outside temps tend to cool down enough so that I can open my windows and turn on the oscillating fans.
So far, it's been a good purchase.

A good choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable AC has a lot going for it. It is by far the quietest portable AC I have ever used. Also the Wi-Fi app control is a great feature. However it was very difficult to set up this feature. Give yourself extra time and watch a couple tutorials. Don’t give up! The machine cools well, although others are better. Unfortunately this not an energy star rated unit, it is an electricity hog. However it works and is suer quiet. 4/5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upstairs office above garage, has always been a struggle to cool. Super simple, took this out of the box, vented out the window, and plugged it in. The instructions warn that you should put it on its own circuit and that seems to be true, mine has tripped the breaker twice in the past couple of weeks but mostly does fine.

Generally good unit

Works well. Like most units, the sound level (decibels) isn't the problem, it's the jarring transition as it cuts on/off during the night.
These portable AC units would really benefit from a night time mode which offers a more gradual increase in speed. Maybe the 2022 models do better.

Item for improvement - Unit has 2 air "filters" - One oddly requires a screw driver to remove and neither really filter much below dog hair.
Adding an optional HEPA filter would benefit us but also be an indefinite source of revenue for Frigidaire.
Both filters should be accessible without tools.

Perfect...almost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit is great! Noise level VERY reasonable, even on high fan. Cooling ideal for area defined in specifications (600 sq. Ft room). Allcontrols and remote work as expected and defined in ads and manual.
Lost star is for poor quality window/door adapter. I bought after market adapter that works perfectly.
Overall I am DELIGHTED with product.
