Works well! Cools room off quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our home in Utah because of single unit AC cools the downstairs really well but the upstairs stays about 10 degrees higher. This unit lives in our bedroom and will turn it on and about 10 minutes the room is at the desired temperature. Works exactly how it is supposed to.

Tough Task-Good Air

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My space is 306 sf. It is struggling to cover the space in 100+ degree temperatures but it keeps us comfortable enough for us to work for extended periods of time. I love that it is wi-fi enabled so that it can be controlled in the app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this in my bedroom which is a medium size. It cools it down ok and is not too loud. I like being able to use an app to control it. The directions could be clearer but it's easy enough to install. Overall it's ok.

Cools quickly but doesn't have a far reach

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My apartment has 13 ft ceilings but is only about 650 sq ft. Last summer my window AC unit wasn't cooling the apartment, so I decided to go for something extreme--this AC unit. While it does cool the main living area quickly, it doesn't efficiently reach other rooms past where it directly sits. My bedroom, which is off the main living area, is always about 10 degrees hotter. For the price and size of this unit, I think I would shop around a bit more.

Your feedback is much appreciated. We are sorry to hear that your unit is not cooling your entire apartment. This unit is designed to cool a max area of 600 sq ft. In areas larger than this, you will see a decrease in effectiveness. Tall ceilings and multiple rooms can also decrease the cooling power. - Kailey

Great option for a home with no central AC.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the PNW, many homes do not have central Air Conditioning (some have forced air—basically a central fan). The 13000 btu Frigidaire cools the 2nd floor of the house. Being able to control it via the phone app is a plus. Additionally, I like that it notifies me when the filter needs to be cleaned (had to clean it within the first 30 days so I know it’s filtering the air too!).

First Portable AC - Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Frigidaire 13k BTU Portable Air Conditioner is doing a wonderful job keeping our home cool this summer. We purchased the unit as we have an older home without central air conditioning, and while PNW summers are not intense the house does get hot - we were a bit nervous to buy a portable unit, but this one works great!
The AC unit can cool a room down (400-500 SQ ft) to 60 degrees and it is rather quiet too. We have set up a few fans to push the cooler air around the home and that has helped keep a majority of the house (1500 SQ ft) feeling cooler during the day. The unit can be seamlessly controlled from your smart phone or programmed to follow a pattern too.
Installation was pretty easy and the instructions and materials for that came with the device. So far we haven't had to do any maintenance to the device, but it came with attachments if you wanted to use the AC unit as a dehumidifier. However, we have no need for that feature yet.
My wife and I are very happy with how the unit works, is designed and appreciate how cold it can make our room and our home.

What a life saver
