Buyer Beware - look at SACC BTU rating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this, seeing as it was a well-designed model, with all of the features I was looking for. Like the smart controls - when they work.
But don't be fooled by the 13,000 ASHRAE BTU rating. That is measured on temps of 80⁰ outside. If you, like most people, live in a place where summer temps get between 83⁰-95⁰, BTU drops to 6,000 - enough to keep a small room comfortable. Living in California, if I have my machine at full blast during the summer, I struggle to get my small living room to 85⁰. I am not happy with it's performance and underhanded marketing. Buyer beware!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our unit -- we live in an apartment and while we have not needed AC for the last few years, this summer has been brutal already and we decided we couldn't live without it anymore. It's been a life-saver. We did have to purchase an adapter to let it work with our sliding glass door, but it's been a fantastic purchase, especially while working from home.

Perfect for bedroom or office cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed my new unit, especially the scheduler and wifi connectivity, make it easy to check on the status of the unit while away and monitor the room temperature for the pets when out. Quite enough to sleep in the same room with and does a great job quickly cooling down the room. my only complaint is that the fan never turns off while in auto mode, it just cycles the condenser on and off.

An excellent and inexpensive cooling system.

Unfortunately, the house has three levels and it was always much too warm on the highest level. After installing the Frigidaire system, the top level in the house has become the coolest. The installation took me (with the help of my wife) about an hour and a half. Everything works great so far. Thanks Frigidaire.

Quiet and works nonstop!

I live in a studio in NYC with a bulldog that requires a cooler climate, making it a necessity for the summer. So far, it has been amazing and quiet. I used to have a standing AC that was very very loud, which I understand to be the standard. That said I am very pleased with this purchase!
