Difficult to remove and reinstall

The filter is very hard to unscrew from the refrigerator. There is no way to unscrew it with your hand. The small handle slipped out of my hand. I had to get a 12 inch pair of pliers to grip it tight enough to remove and just as bad to reinstall. The water was off and the pressure released. I believe the refrigerator has a defective receptacle for the filter. I even coated the o-rings with rubber lube.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad filter life

I’ve had the Samsung refrigerator since May 2023, and am now buying my 5th filter. Terrible filter life. After 3-4 months, it is down to a slow trickle. Extremely disappointed in the filter. I haven’t gotten anywhere near 6 months with any of them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clean filter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water filter helps clean out all the sediments and ensures healthy drinking. The performance is great and is compatible with my bespoke refrigerator. It has a large capacity and the filter is good for 6 months.

i 72 year old,installed a water filter,checked on it half hour later,opened the first drawer and water came out like it was niagara falls..filter very very hard to install,i think even for a man

was a lil nervous after seeing a lot of low star reviews and reports of problems. anyhow took the old one out and popped this one in. looked identical to me. working just fine. fyi purchased counter depth side by side in 2021.

Easy install!!

I installed this filter last week on a 4-door refrigerator and it installed very easily with no leaks at all. I turned off the water first and everything went very smoothly. Good product and our water tastes great.
