[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The filter reduces TDS by about 30-50 ppm, in my case, from 250 to 210. Filter change caused a leak but was fixed after watching a Youtube video.

Hit or miss. Inconsistent quality.

I regularly buy these from Samsung and noticed that these are hit or miss. Sometimes they do not make a difference in the water taste at all. (double checked seating, etc.) Then I grab a new one and water immediately tastes better. Not sure why some filters don't work. Out of the 6 I purchased, 3 had issues where the water tasted like tap water. The other 3 worked great.
