Absolutely disgusting that Samsung doesn't offer recycling of this product...what a lousy company. It's 2024, take some responsibility for your products you push out to people.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

filter hard to push in and pull out

So hard to put in and open when replacing. The process should be easier for those elderly that cant push and twist Not handicap friendly .

Filter light won't go off

I replaced my filter with a Samsung filter and there is no way the filter light is going off. I've tried everything. My refrigerator isn't even a year old!

Water filter reset

I had trouble resetting thee filter light. Tried holding reset 3 sec but never went off. Then I pressed the water/ice lock button and then held filter reset 3sec and light went off. Your instructions should be clearer and step by step.
