I have water damage to everything carpet has to be replaced and cabinets and since it was the weekend have to wait till Monday for insurance and hope they will cover it. I am scared to leave to house now. O yea not mention my neighbor also have water damage. This all had to do with the water filter.

Short life

the filter that came with our fridge later about a year before the flow through the dispenser started to slow. the replacement filter lasted less than 3 months before becoming so clogged that the ice maker stopped working. if it's only going to last 3 months,i might as well try a generic.

Replaced the water filter with a new one. No leaks, no problems. I don't understand the problems others are having. It can't be any easier.

Filter Makes the Fridge Not Worth it

This is my 2nd time replacing the filter on my fridge. Woke up the next morning to my kitchen flooring completely soaked. I've done everything I know to do to this filter and its still leaking. I've removed it and reinserted it multiple times. Trying to return the filter I just bought is impossible. My floors in my kitchen are already warping. I'm gonna end up having to re-floor around my refrigerator because if this. What a nightmare, stay away!!!

Sounds like Samsung constantly avoids OWNING up to the fact that the water filter is difficult to install and leaks happen often. They have used their standard blah, blah, blah language. This is an issue and so is their faulty ice makers.
Do not sell/give my contact information

Does Not Filter Out Many Chemicals!!
on June 8, 2023

from Dexter New York
Just bought a Samsung refrigerator . Ran over a gallon of water through the system. I tested the water from the fridge and got 154 PPM. I tested the water from the tap and it was 171 PPM. Apparently it doesn’t filter out a lot of chemicals. I had a Zero Water that I discarded because the fridge had a filter. That was a mistake. There is no listing of the filter’s efficacy. I wonder why! Will have to install a filtration system prior to connecting to the fridge.
