Tricky installation but very good filter

It’s tricky to install. Official instructions are incorrect. Check YouTube for installation. If installed properly it works perfectly, very good filter.

Horrible company, customer service filter/fridge

This is honestly the worst experience I have ever had. I will never be buying a Samsung product ever again, I have told friends and family to not either! I bought this water filter from Samsung and watched a few videos on how to install it. Once I installed the new water filter, a few minutes later there was a HUGE puddle of water from my fridge that seeped into my flooring and damaged it. I removed the water filter immediately and then tried to install again, same thing.. Then I put in my old filter and it worked fine. I tried installing one more time and that was the last straw.
I called customer support to replace this water filter and also confirm it was the right one for my fridge. It was indeed the right filter as they confirmed. So I requested for a replacement or a refund and they had transferred me to 6 different people in the span of 1 hour. Still no freaking resolution they keep transferring me to the wrong team. I'm going to be replacing this fridge with a different brand. Mark my words I will never buy a Samsung product again! Lesson learned the hard way... bunch of scammers in this company
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i’ve already replaced the water filter. but for some reason the refrigerator is not recognizing the new filter. and i’m unable to turn off the filter code inside the refrigerator. i love sampson products. however with the difficulty of turning off the filter sensor after replacing filter i would not recommend

Depending on the refrigerator you have, you may have to reset the filter light. You can do this by going to the Home screen, tap Apps, tap Fridge Manager, and then tap Fridge Settings. Tap Water Filter, tap Reset, and then tap Proceed. Just like that, your refrigerator's water filter timer will be reset.

Works! No leaks here

I held off on buying these for a year or two because of the reviews. Haha. May have been a first timers luck, but I had no issue installing it in my 4 door, 28cu, smart hub fridge. No leaks or anything unusual rather than water sputtering out of water dispenser for a few seconds as it adjusted to the new filter. I didn't turn off my water (tough to get to without scratching my tile floors), but just gently turned the water filter into place until it caught and went in. Had to do an extra rotation at first since it didn't seem aligned, but eventually went in, no problem. Best of luck! Hopefully my luck continues... haha
