Great filter, but horrible packaging!

Great filter, but it is extremely hard to open and cut through the hard plastic. I have cut my hand a few times trying to pry it open after cutting through little by little. A plain box would suffice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No proof it filters lead

I bought samsung bespoke fridge, and then I got this filter for modelDA97-08006C-A. I have the DA97-17376B replacement filter. I am pregnant and I thought this filtered lead. I can't find the performance data sheet anywhere for this. I relied on this filter to filter lead because it had the NSF label. I bought a genuine one. Where is your performance safety data sheet for this? If you can't provide that to me, then basically I was duped by shady marketing. If you need a filter to filter lead, I advise anyone to do their research as it seems this product is duping people into thinking it filters lead.

No proof it filters toxic metals

This filter and refill is a joke. The performance data sheet isn't provided. If it doesn't remove toxic chemicals, then there is no purpose. It claims to be NSF, but I don't see the performance data sheet anywhere for this model and replacement. Provide the performance data sheet for this model and replacement. This would alsonw the second time I have left a review as it appears the first one hasn't been posted.

water leak flood when plugged in fiter

I changed the filter and the leaked all over the kitchen floor for couple of hours before i found out. It flooded the kitcen floor. i am afrad to insert back the filter so i shut the fridge water off. now my expensive fancy fridge doesnot have water or ice

the filter was too tight to change it and when i replaced it, it was good, we were off the home for 2 days and next day when we came the house is flooded with water adn end up in 100 K insurance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
