Do not get moneys worth.

our water starts to taste unappealing when the filter needs to be changed. ive never had one last 6 months. this one lasted 38 days. definitely not worth the money.

Super Easy Install

There were several complaints about leaks, but to me, this filter change was really easy compared to other appliances. I just followed the directions - which is not super convenient but worked.
Shut off the water Drain the water line through the dispenser Rotate the filter counter-clockwise, 180 degrees Remove filter Insert new filter Push in while rotating 180 degrees clock-wise Slowly open the valve and refill the line Run some water through the dispenser and throw out. All done.

Seems to work fine

i have the 4-door flexzone fridge, rf24r7201sr, manf oct '20, came with haf-qin-exp filter (says replacement filter is da97-17376b, for use in system da97-08006c).
replacement filter matched but said for use in system da97-08006c-a. oddly, the orange store sells this same filter but has haf-qins-exp on the package (but filter itself says haf-qin-exp). samsung support couldn't explain the differences so -1 star.
i turned off the main water supply and let out some water from the fridge to relieve the pressure, removed the old filter, following suggestions here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/tsg01109722/ installed new filter turning a few times before it seated but seemed to fit ok. ran about 5 gals through after, everything seems good, no leaks or issues.

What a Waste of Money. Avoid Samsung Appliances.

Your water filter is worthless. I have purchased these filters multiple times and require my water to be clean, especially clean due to being a heart transplant recipient.
Dirty water could cause all sorts of medical problems, which is why I don’t drink from, and rarely even run water through your filters, because I don’t want to get sick, and I don’t want to throw any more money away for something that should work but does not.
I have contacted Samsung about this problem in the past and they gave me a ridiculous excuse about the filters, not being made by Samsung, therefore Samsung are not responsible for them, yet they require them in their products.
I know that your filters don’t work, and that I don’t have clean filtered water, because I have a meter which test the water quality, and it shows hard water coming from the refrigerator and hard water coming from my faucet, and the measurements are identical, which is exactly why I have a company deliver water to my house instead.
Unfortunately, when I purchased this house, it had one appliance that was made by Samsung and it was my stove which led me to purchase other Samsung appliances so that my products would match, but that was the biggest mistake I could’ve made.
I have had more problems with my Samsung products than I ever did with my products from LG and I will never purchase another Samsung product in the future, and if I’m in the position to recommend a product to someone else, it will not be made by Samsung.

Does not last or bought a defective pack

this product did not serve our expectations. i understand we drink water daily but the original filter that came along with the fridge when purchased alone lasted 6 months. this pack we purchased from here we completely went through a 3 pack in less than 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad packaging and dangerous plastic

Hard time replacing filter

ive changed the filter and water leaked everywhere. i had to keep removing it and installing it for it to work. i finally got it to fit but now my fridge hasn’t updated that the filter is replaced. it is still asking me to replace so now im unsure if its installed propery.
