we are having a difficult time with our dishwasher. its the 3 second interwall to a 4 second something else. we are too old.. 91 and 96.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far, so good. Have had it for about a week and it replaced a 15 y/o WhirlPool. Quiet and cleans great.

The worst machine we have ever had.

Terrible appliance. The dishwasher doesnt wash a full cycle every so often so we have to re do the cycle. Sometimes we have had to do it three times in order for it to wash. The controls are awful. Sometimes it takes forever to get the machine to start. Lastly, we cannot fill it completely because it will not wash at all. We have to wash half full cycles which is wasting water. Last but not least, the machine has developed a bunch of awful looking streaks in the front stainless steel panel which will not come off with any stainless steel cleaner. It looks terrible. Just a horrible product. Shame on GE.

The tips in the article will also help with the other things you are noticing. Lastly, for cleaning the exterior we recommend leaners with oxalic acid such as Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser™ will remove rust, tarnish and small blemishes. Use only a liquid cleanser free of grit and rub in the direction of the brush lines with a damp soft sponge.

We didn’t have many choices because our subfloor is too tall and wouldn't allow for a standard dishwasher height. The only thing that I can say about this dishwasher…is that it’s basic! At best.

After cycle is completed there is a lot of moisture inside. This is dishwasher seams not to dry all the way.

We want to help go over some information about the drying process of your dishwasher. This model uses condensate drying. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process.
