Horrible dishwasher

We have this model in a brand new rental property. The first one was leaking and they could not fix it. They replaced it and now this one gives the 888 error and is not draining. They came to reset it and it is still not working.
The lower rack keeps falling off its track, the utensils’ holder keeps moving from its spot, and it does not fit a lot of items. It is a cheaply made horrible product. I can’t believe GE makes this low quality. We won’t consider buying any GE model for ourselves in the future.

Quiet and thorough

This dishwasher is the most quiet I've ever owned, and goes through its cycles without anyone noticing, getting the dishes clean and spotless. It allows stacking of large numbers of plates, large and small, on the lower deck, and silverware either in bunches or solo.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible choice - has no dry cycle

Who would have guessed that GE will build a dishwasher without a dry cycle?!!! After 122 minutes of wash the dishes are still wet and the dishwasher dripping water. TERRIBLE!!!

To achieve optimum performance, make sure the incoming water temperature is at least 120 degrees F. We suggest running the hot water at the kitchen sink before starting a cycle. Due to new flooring in my house, I was limited to ADA height dishwashers. I read a mix of reviews on this dishwasher and crossed my fingers for the best. I would say the poor reviews are correct. The dishwasher looks nice and isn’t too loud. The bad parts are everything else. I understand it’s a bit smaller inside due to the height, but the dishes really can only be arranged one way and doesn’t accommodate much of our normal day to day dishes for a family of three. After using the dishwasher for a month, the soap dispenser has failed to open about the same amount of times that it has opened. This goes back to arranging dishes - if you try anything but small plates on that side of the dishwasher, it will not open. Who uses 16 small plates?!? Anyway, this dishwasher is not well designed and doesn’t really suit our needs, but we’re stuck with it.

Doesn’t function properly

Has been run multiple times and the soap dispenser will not open so frustrating my old cheaper dishwasher was better.

If you are using the pod type of detergent, try opening the cup manually to make sure a portion of plastic pod did not get lodged in the dispenser and prevent it from opening. If this is not the case, we encourage you to take advantage of your warranty and call GE Appliances Service out to check the dishwasher for you. We are confident they will be able to remedy this. Too small and uncomfortable

This dishwasher came with the house. It is too small and very uncomfortable to deal with- especially the bottom rack which it is not easy to get in if you pull it too far.
