This machine is poorly designed, difficult to adequately load dishes, needs 166 minutes of run time to properly wash and dry (somewhat) dishes.

Hello. We apologize this dishwasher does not meet with your expectations. You will find visuals on loading the dishwasher on pages 8 and 9 in the following manual for your model. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-55124-5.pdf -- Also here is a link of items to check if having drying issues. https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17451 -- There is also cycle times found in the manual on page 5. We would not want you to have this kind of appliance experience. Stay safe. Geoff@GEA
I like that it's simple, pretty much set it once and forget it, just load add soap and hit start, It's beyond quiet, it's also smaller than my last one with the same CF capacity, by a bit, overall tho, very happy

Hey there, we couldn't be happier to see how much you're enjoying your new dishwasher. We're excited to welcome you into our GE Appliances family!
I had this dishwasher installed 6 months ago and really dislike it. Firstly, my dishes and silverware are never clean. Coffee cups are still brown inside. Half of the detergent pod is on the dw floor. There is a film on everything. Also loading the upper shelf is not efficient.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your concerns and giving us a chance to help. We're so sorry for any trouble you're having with your dishwasher. Here are some great tips that may help with the poor cleaning issue: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17452
If using detergent pods, we suggest making sure they are not binding the cup cover and preventing it from opening all the way. Also, make sure they are properly lined up in the opening. If they are not dissolving all the way, it may be due to the water temperature. The entering water must be at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Thanks so much for being a part of the GE Appliances family! The feedback is appreciated and we hope this helps! – Sharon@GEA
I have always counted on GE for all my kitchen appliances and have never been disappointed until now. Because of the height of my kitchen counter, I require an ADA compliant dishwasher. I just had to say goodbye to my GE ADA dishwasher GLDT690DWW-00. It was everything I could have wanted in a dishwasher. This new dishwasher is very quiet, is roomier than my last model, and does an excellent job washing and drying the dishes. However, unlike the last one, I find the bottom rack extremely difficult to load. It will not hold 9"x13" baking dishes, my roasting pan, or more than one saucepan. It seems to be designed only for dishes and silverware. I don't like having to wash so many large items by hand. I feel the silverware basket takes up too much room and it is only held in place by the weight of the contents when loaded. In my opinion, it could have been positioned better.

Hello there, we first want to thank you for your loyalty to us. In addition, we're sorry you're unhappy with the bottom rack of your dishwasher. This is certainly not the reaction we want from our customers so we'll be sure to take your comments into consideration for future reference.
We're wishing you the best and we're happy to have you in our GE Appliances family.
This is a great looking dishwasher. It has ideal features for a single person who occasionally hosts a crowd. Install was a little tricky, because the granite above had no drilled holes to affix it. Luckily, it came with brackets that my installer used to affix it to the cabinets on the sides. I’m happy with the purchase.n
Does not dry the dishes at all. Somewhat a pain to have to dry all the dishes after the dishwasher has completed its cycle.
