Not a fan of rack configuration

The dishwasher cleans okay but I had to buy rack prong extensions. The back, left side had such short prongs that is wouldn't even hold my small salad plates and that was what they showed in their depiction of how to load your dishes. My prior unit was the same brand and I'd loved it. It had the silverware basket on the door. Why they changed a good thing is beyond me. Also, installed, it leaves gaps on the sides.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flimsy but cleans

Although the pull out shelves and utensil basket are very flimsy, the dishes seem to get clean. This is a very basic dishwasher. Consider saving and using the utensil basket from your replaced dishwasher.

Dishes don't dry unless you open the door right after the cycle. Other than that, I'm pleased with the unit.

It does the job.

This GE dishwasher was recommended to me as a reliable ADA compliant dishwasher. Even though I had a bad experience with a previous GE clothes dryer (the timer kept failing, even after three replacements) I decided to go with the recommendation, and so far the dishwasher has been performing well. It doesn't have a very efficient rack system for dishes (I cannot fit as many dishes into the washer as a I could with my previous Asco ADA compliant dishwasher) it seems to do a very good job of cleaning the dishes and leaving them spot free.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't Dry

I got a new dishwasher because my old one was no longer drying & we splurged on this one only to find out it doesn't dry the dishes at all. So unhappy and not impressed for the price we paid.
