Quiet and Cleans well

We purchased this product as it was the only panel-ready dishwasher available after COVID to replace our Bosch unit. Positives are that it is very quite and cleans well. Negatives are that you have to press START and close the door within 4 seconds to start the dishwasher; however, it frequently fails to start and you go to unload it and discover it has not washed the dishes. The utensil basket is flimsy (handle comes off) and it is difficult to get it properly seated on the rack. Attaching the panel is extremely difficult compared to the Bosch which was very easy to attach and remove. The Bosch uses two metal clips whereas the GE uses one plastic clip that broke during installation. Whereas the Bosch panel takes minutes to install, it took several hours to install the panel on the GE. The GE door is also not as tall as the Bosch door such that you cannot view the controls when the door is closed. Overall, it seems over-priced for the value, quality and design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for me

This dishwasher is somewhat smaller (ADA model) but is a perfect size for my one-personi household. It runs very quietly.

I do not like this dishwasher at all. It does not clean well, nor does it dry. It also does not drain, the water sits in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dishes not clean. No dry cycle

I was so looking forward to getting this new dishwasher but it is a disappointment. I have to wash the dishes before loading or else it doesn’t even touch the left-on food. There’s no dry cycle so everything is soaked when it’s finished and I have to towel dry. It is quiet and pretty but what good is that if my dishes are still dirty? Disappointing. We paid a lot of money and feel cheated.

This dishwasher was a replacement from my appliance warrinty company. It in now way compares to my dishwasher that broke. It now takes me running the dishwasher twice due to the dishwasher design not holding enough dishes. The silverware rack is so ridiculous and the silverware gets stuck. And finally there is no drying cycle on this machine. My dishes are wet when I go to put them away. Surely not worth the over 1k price tag.
