not worth buying

This dishwasher is very cheap. The lower rack constantly falls off the rails, the spaces for dishes and cups do not accommodate various sizes well. I can't fit as much as I could in my old ones. Half the time the machine runs and doesn't take all the soap out or the pod.If by mistake you press the delay start button, when you try to clear it, nothing happens and you're stuck with a delayed start.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Disappointed in GE

This is our 2nd GE dishwasher. We were somewhat satisfied with the performance and durability of the previous model. GDT226SGLBB is a great disappointment. The posts in the lower rack on the left side are at about a 45 degree angle to the center making it impossible to face dishes of any size to the center. Yet, the Owner's Manual clearly states that the soiled side of a dish should face center. The Silverware Basket is made of weak and thin plastic. The Topper easily separates from the basket spilling silverware into the dishwasher or onto countertop. Even worse than this, the basket does not rest securely at any location in the lower rack, so it can move freely on the lower rack, flip and spill silverware into into bottom of dishwasher. The Indicator Lights for "Clean" and "Sanitized" are located at the top of the dishwasher door, and are not visible when door is closed. You need to bend down and look between the countertop and top of the door to see if the "Clean" light is on and the cycle is complete. The engineering and design of this appliance is disgraceful. I urge GE to redesign the Lower Rack and Silverware Basket, and provide free upgrades to all purchasers of the appliance.

Not all dishes fit properly
