Rack jumped track after 2 uses; can't be pushed in

After only 2 uses, the upper rack came off the track and can't be pushed back in; even the local appliance store that we bought it from could not fix it and told us GE would need to do so. The racks feel thin, light and flimsy; they easily jump off the tracks. We had to buy an ADA compliant model and the GDT226SGLBB was the only one the local store had in stock. This is a very disappointing product and we will be seeking to have it removed and receive a full refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointment for a energy saving dishwasher

The bowls of any size is difficult to put in. As a result, the number of dishes we can put in per wash is smaller than the previous Swedish dishwasher. Also, it spends 90 minutes washing, making us wonder if it is really energy efficient

Hello and thanks so much for choosing this excellent dishwasher for your kitchen. We understand and apologize for your concerns about the size end energy efficiency. This model is energy star certified, so while some loads may take longer, it does use less energy. Using Autosense, the dishwasher detects the exact right amount of water, time, and temperature needed to get your dishes clean.
For additional space in your unit, the top rack is adjustable by a few inches up or down. Instructions can be found on page 8 and allows for larger items. We hope this helps. - John@GEA

Can't get it to start

I'm attempting to use this at a rental house. The dang thing just keeps beeping after I try to start it after NOT doing a delayed start. Owners manual isn't helping.

Hello and thanks for reaching out about the dishwasher you are using. We are sorry to hear about the trouble getting is to start and imagine the frustration is building as this continues. First, make sure the control lock is not on by holding the Cycle Select and Wash Temp buttons for 3 seconds to turn the lock off/on.
Next, select your cycle, press Start, and close the door within 4 seconds. Make sure the door is closing full and nothing is in the latch area or leaning against the inside of the door. If this is a new install, make sure it is getting water and even throw a cup or two of water in the bottom of the tub.

Terrible product for the money

This 900 dollar unit is a TERRIBLE product. The dishes come out dirty and wet. There is no heating element so the water doesn’t get hot enough to Sanitize even though there is a Sanitation feature. The inside is so small have no choice but to run it every data do we only have two people and forget about putting any cookware in it. If you lower the rack to put stemware on the top rack you can’t even put a dinner plate in the bottom rack. BOOOOOO I’m sending this back and getting something else.
