The pots are beautiful, but hard-water unfriendly

These pans are good, heat evenly, and I love that the glass lids let you see how everything's going without letting all the steam out. Why only 3 stars? My two complaints are: One, the handles on the lids get REALLY, REALLY HOT, and I don't like having to use a pot holder to lift them. Two, the interiors of all of the pans have become discolored and kind of etched looking. When I contacted Cuisinart about this, they were very good about replacing the pans - all the way to sending me an entirely new full set - but after having some of the pans replaced twice, I kind of gave up. I'm sure they would send me replacements, but I just don't have time to keep taking pictures and sending emails.

A Little Disappointed with Our Expectations

Set is very pretty. The weight of the pans makes them feel sturdy and of good quality. I'm not totally satisfied because, even after following instructions, the food stuck and burned on first use. It has gotten better with repeated use. We bought them to replace a set that was almost 20 years old. We hope these last as long.
