Not as quiet as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this blender for my daily smoothies. The smoothie cycle option pulses at different speeds producing the perfect smoothie every time! The down side is, I do think it could be quieter. While I understand blending ice can be loud, I could still hear the motor over the ice blending. Still, it works great for what I need and I'll be keeping it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that this has a glass blending jar. I make smoothies daily and this has really made my morning easier. If I am in a hurry I can do the single serve and still be out the door quickly. The lid design is awesome, just flip it and poor, if you need to add something just pop the top and add through the opening in the lid. The cord winds under the base to keep counter neat.

Struggles with ice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First the good: this blender has nice features, looks great, runs a bit quieter than other blenders, and seems well designed. However, it can't handle ice! I like frozen fruits and veggies in a smoothie and this blender cannot blend these frozen items. Might be ok for soft foods, but I need it to do more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet nice blender with 4 automatic pre-programmed feature buttons and a travel cup as well! It is quite sturdy and can perform all functions as advertised. I've had no problems with it making what I've used it for. There is a little crevice in the base that collects food and things so having to disassemble it to clean it is kind of a pain.

Quietest Blender I've Used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several different brands of blenders over the past 12 years and this was by far the quietest while still getting the job done! I was very impressed with the quality of the blender and container, did not feel cheap or thin. Held up well to washing and was quick and easy to wash as well. I tried making several different things with this blender and ice was able to be crushed with ease, even made smoothies very smooth! Usually I am unable to get a blender that pulvarizes the ice, usually left with chunks. This competed very well with a high priced blender I own, but for the affordability of it - the Black & Decker wins!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just in time for summer and frozen drinks!! Much quieter than my old one!! I like that it comes with a single serve bottle for making smaller portions!! Has a place to store the cord when you put it away. Looks sharp and works great!!!
