Surprisingly quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first because it seems too fancy. I have an old school blender with an on/off switch and a dial to change the speed. The electronics on this one made me a little leery - is it really going to have the power, is it really going to switch between modes easily, is it going to feel cheep?
The answers are Yes, Yes, and No!
When you need to crush ice, it pulverizes it in no time!
Switching modes in just a push of a button, didn't know I needed more options than on/off and speeds - but this makes it so easy, no more guessing at what is the proper speed to do what i need.
And it's heavy duty, there's nothing cheap about this. It feels quality and is heavy enough to do it's job and not slide around on the counter from it's own motion.

This Has It All!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No need to buy a pricey juicer or grinder when you have this blender! It can make smoothies, soup, grind nuts, make baby food, crush ice and make smoothies and other fruit or green drinks. I used it for the first time to make a green drink for myself. I blended dried sea organic seaweed with kiwi, kale and spinach and added a spoonful of organic vanilla yogurt to make a healthy and substantial green drink. (Don't forget to peel the kiwi before adding to blender.) I am thinking about making cream of broccoli soup the next time I use the blender. My husband agrees this appliance is a work-horse! I love that it is quieter than most. The 18 oz. single serve jar makes your smoothie or drink easy to take along anywhere! For the price point, this item is a must-have for anyone on a budget or not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Powerful Blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great blender to crush my ice so that it looks like snow and great for snow cones!! I love that it is not that loud like other blenders because it is 40% quieter (on highest speed). This is good because when I have to use it early in the morning, I don't want to wake up my whole household in order to make a smoothie! This blender is 900 watts of power and 3 speeds. I love that it is digital control touch and that their are pictures of drink glasses on three of the controls which lets you know what type of speed the 4-tip QuadPro blades will blend your liquid. You are able to make smoothies, icy drinks, shakes, puree fruits and vegetables, blend for soups, gravies, etc., grind, and crumb bread. My favorite is that it is able to crush ice! I love that the jar of the blender is made with glass and it is able to hold 6 cups (48 oz). This blender has a Dual-Opening Lid. The glass jar has a PerfectPour spout and a Hinged Ingredient Slot so that you are able to put in your specific ingredients. This blender comes with a 18 oz single serve jar that you can be used on the blender or for on-the-go liquids. While the blender is in use, it has slip-resistant rubber feet.The removable parts of this blender are dishwasher safe. Their is a place to store the cord.

Don't waste money.

Used this blender 3 times for a grand total of less than 20 minutes. Left it to cool for over an hour will not turn on. It was not over filled per the guide that was in the box with it. Waste of money.

Doesn’t last long

We bought this about a year ago and we haven’t used it all that much and it just died. Won’t turn on or anything. So disappointing. It blends super well but for only lasting a year or less im dissatisfied

Made 5 peach and ice cream smoothies over the past two weeks, auto turned off two days ago, just "clicks" won't turn on today.

great but...

after one year the blades broke, and I can't find the replacement anywhere, other than that everything else works ok. if it is still working why throw it away for one part?

It was working great and then I was making my smoothie one morning and it started to smell like burning plastic, smoke coming out of the bottom. I never blend nothing too hard just bananas and milk. I have continued to use it and it keeps getting worse. Now I worry if I continue using it it might blow up on me. It smokes and get very hot smells like burning plastic. Don't buy it!
