This is my second Zagg iPad cover/keyboard. The first was on an 11” iPad which stopped charging. I love having a real keyboard rather than the flat screen keyboard. This keyboard makes typing emails, letters, and texts so much easier and faster. The keys are very responsive to touch and the sound they make is music to my ears. I am 72 years old and used to type on electric typewriters so the sound is nostalgic.

This keyboard fits the iPad I purchased and is easy to set up and use. I did not really get a notice that the battery was running low before it stopped working, which would be helpful — but there are different reasons why that may have happened the first time. Nice feel to the keyboard. Like the Alt/Opt key for keyboard selection. Little trouble getting my fingerprint ID to register with configuration of the case at that point on the iPad, but it’s not life-changing.

I was dismayed that my iPad does not fit into the case. It mostly fits but not snugly so that the volume keys are not useable. Is this common?

I returned it because it was too heavy for easy portability. In order to be able to easily just use my iPad I had to unsnap it from the cover which was tight and took effort and then put my other cover back on to protect it when I wanted to use it without the keyboard. The keyboard Functions were fine. it was simply the weight and portability issues

I have found the Zagg keyboards for the iPad product a needed option for protection and functionality. It's battery life is months long and it adds so much to improve operation of shortcuts and navigation. Loved all of mine.
