Cheaply Made

I was excited to finally get this keyboard for my iPad. After finally receiving the keyboard (after the second order), I was highly disappointed when I unboxed it. It immediately felt cheaply made, but I remained optimistic. Once the case was on and paired, I went to log into my iPad for the first time. The letter "S" broke off the keyboard ON THE FIRST USE! Needless to say, I'm done being a Zagg customer.

Almost Perfect

The Zagg Pro Keys Keyboard for my iPad 8 is almost perfect. I considered giving it 4 stars but I think 3 is more in line with the fact that the volume buttons don’t really work unless you use a fingernail and press REALLY hard in just the right spot. And by doing that the volume either zooms past where you want it or only budges a small amount. the problem is the plastic nubs inside the case don’t make positive contact with the actual volume controls. I’m going to see if I can somehow fix this but it’s really annoying. Two stars worth.

Rugged Replacement

I have been a fan of the Rugged Book for some time but my last one had the hinge malfunction at 13 months use, just outside of the warranty. There was no availability for Rugged Book so I decided to try the Pro Keys model. Keyboard works better as it doesn't need to wake up like it did with teh Rugged Book. But it will not work unless the iPad is positioned in one of the two grooves. I do miss the ability to fold the iPad at any angle but this seems to be only a minor annoyance. Overall, a solid product from Zagg.

Only so-so

I bought this so I wouldn’t keep losing my apple pencils, it has a nice spot to keep it. Unfortunately it isn’t as stable as the one I bought through apple, the top is too heavy so it tips over way too often. Maybe it just needs a stronger magnet, but it is a waste of money for me.

Great product

I bought this to have a keyboard for and protect my first ever iPad. It looks great, is slim yet protective, and the keyboard is wonderful - soft keys that are easy to use even for my large hands and fingers. The only downside for me is the inability of the case to stand up in all the ways that I prefer to use it. It works great if used on a hard surface like a countertop or desk, but using it it more relaxed places like a lap or firm couch pillow doesn't work so well. It falls and the folded part of the case for support is not thick enough or sturdy enough. That is not a fault of the case, but something to consider before purchasing.

Beautiful case and keyboard. It would have been nice if one of the keys wasn’t broken right out of the box. Even nicer if it was easy to find the complaint or return shipping area on the website easily.

Had a rugged case on last iPad. This new case is easily detachable from keyboard and provides great protection from damage so far. Lighted keyboard works as advertised. Good price

Awesome iPad case, definitely recommend

First off, this case is awesome, keyboard is great(backlit and multiple colors and brightness), case itself feels protective, and secure, also secures the Apple Pencil, which is a definite plus. Previous to this case I had a competitor case, which the keyboard kept falling off, and case felt not as protective, and did not secure the Apple Pencil. Also other cases I have found to take up a lot of space, if you travel and find yourself on airplanes this case is perfect. Some other cases do not require to charge but with the long battery life on this one do not let that sway you, battery life last an estimated 12 months, I have had mine for a couple months and have yet to charge it. Overall very happy and would 100% recommend.
