Nice clear picture, but I’m having problems with the Actve Capitan app. I have no clue what my problem is.
My suggestion would be to spend the extra money and get the one where you can put a preloaded card in it. I like it other than that issue. Just my opinion!

Good quality budget fish finder

Nice quality fish finder just wished there was an adapter to use the side imaging for my Minn kota Terrova can only use my down imaging.

I bought this used it one time and returned it is by far the worst depth finder I've ever used the 9 inch screen is nice but the maps are no good and side images were terrible it was returned and replaced with a hummingbird

Not a fan of the striker 9SV

My first Garmin, depth finding is great, sonar is alright but the community QuickDraw maps are terrible for me I am not a huge fan of that. I will be in the market for another depth finder soon, I will consider Garmin but nothing that is dependent on the QuickDraw map system.

I love my 9sv as a fish finder but I sure wish I could load nav charts on it I know about active captain and it is good but sure wish it had charts

The down image and side image is great but figuring out how to get the contour lines of a lake is hard to understand.

Good unit, only downfall is no maps. You have to drive around and build your own maps. Probably a u it good for a kayak.
