Mixed experience

I like the design, the fan works well and it's beautiful at night. The not so good; it rusts. I tried lights sanding and spraying with Rust-Oleum but it's temporary at best. I really enjoy it but for this much money the rust is kind of a deal breaker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little firepit

I love this firepit, I use it for having fires on my front porch which is a nice way to let the neighbors to come over and hang out. I love cooking on it too because you can control the heat so well using the fan. I love the portability of it too, its super nice to take camping. Its also a great conversation starter at the campground.

We use the FirePit almost exclusively for cooking as I get really consistent heat for steaks, veg, and even apple pie in aluminum foil. The smokeless feature is amazing as it also helps speed up the burn on charcoal…brilliant!

Product is excellent, easy to clean, maintains a fire very well. Products were shipped to me in a timely fashion. I even manage to get an 1/8” smoke ring on my chicken I cooked on it. Only complaint is that my bottom rack that holds my wood came missing 2 of the gratings which lets stuff fall to the bottom and rest on the tubes. Overall we love it though. My daughter loves sitting by the fire and roasting her marshmallows. Check out this video for a visual review.

Unexpected coolness

Much to the dismay of my financial advisor, I purchased one of these over a year ago and kept it under wraps, waiting for the opportune moment to launch the new addition to my burgeoning fire burning implement collection. I have every size solo stove- some in multiples, a snap peak takibi,chimineas, fireboxes, jet stoves etc.. Inniut last visit to our cabin in the woods of the Catskill mountains , we found ourselves dealing with cold , wet climates and our wood supply was not the driest. Perfect! I unveiled the Biolite, loaded it up with a bunch of mostly dry tinder and kindling and a few tumbleweed starters and off it went! It gobbled up everything we threw at it! Tossed in the grill and it cooked up a few delightful tenderloins to boot! Never even powered it up beyond the midway mark. The fan kept going for hours and it was still showing full charge the following morning. Fun as heck! Get it.

Battery Failed - won't hold charge

I can confirm what other's have been saying, the battery pack just stopped holding charge. Very disappointed.
