Had typical battery issue on my last fire pit sooo

Had the older fire pit with the 10500 mAh battery that every only else seems to have an issue with. I only used my fire pit a dozen times but would make sure to charged the battery once every month. (I even had the solar charge cover). I brought it out back in January and it was dead no amount of charging would do anything. I opened it up to see what battery was inside and it's a odd size so finding a replacement is impossible especially now. I asked about battery replacement but none are available and basically you just need to buy another unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Firepit, Wasteful Design When Batteries Die

For an "eco-friendly" company Biolite, I'm not thrilled that your solution to my dead 2018 FirePit battery was to buy an entirely new FirePit+? While you claim that your products are "Climate Neutral Certified", you're contributing to needless electronic waste by not offering part replacements. Service the Lithium-Ion batteries or redesign them to be replaceable. Bought the FirePit+ to replace our FirePit. We love your products, but what an unfortunate waste! I don’t love it. Spent too much money on a finicky fire pit that I can’t even resell to recoup some of my money. Battery doesn’t stay charged and the thing is brand new. Trying to use it without the fan just makes me upset I spent so much money on a tin box, I feel like a sucker.

Battery is cheap

Loved the fire pit, unfortunately the battery pack stopped charging in about 18 months and this company only covers warranty for 12-months. No good.

Cool stove while it lasted

I received this as a gift about three years ago. It was a great camping tool until the battery died and no longer charges. It's a shame that an expensive product that claims to be "green" has such a short shelf life.

Good FirePit But...

Is a good product easy to use the only problem is the battery charger after 2 years get bet and you can not replace it contact costumer service and they don't offer sell the battery only you need to buy all and only offer me 10% to buy new. Wish they can fix or sell only the battery now after 2 years have to buy a different firepit

Whach for rust

after two years, the outline of the door to empty the ashes has rusted and the door has fallen for the price, I am disappointed

Hi there! Thanks so much for sharing your feedback! The FirePit+ features an upgraded high-temp enamel coating that should combat rust. You should not be experiencing rust on the FP+.
