The fire pit was very easy to assemble. It is light weight enough for me to move in my own. Used in its trial run cleaning up fallen oak branches in our front yard and it produces a smokeless flame as promised!

It works, a little disappointed that it didn't come with a cover as was advertised to me. Even the instruction manual and video guides mention the cover. When I contacted BioLite I was told that must be for an older model, they don't provide them anymore.

When we upgraded the FirePit, we removed the small rain cover that used to be included in favor of the new and improved enamel coating. Really cool little fire pit. With the fan it really burns well and consistent especially for cooking. The fan pack is amazing so far. I have used it four times and one day I burned almost all day and the battery is almost still fully charged. Only worry I have is it rusting fast. Not sure yet tho ..but showing signs.

Decent fire pit for the price

I got this fire pit a week ago and have had a few fires with it and cooked with it. I bought all the accessories the heat shield mat, bbq lid, griddle, LED light, and case. The quality is what you’d expect from a mass production fire pit. Metal seems a little thin but I’m sure a lot of that is to keep the weight low for portability. The outer coating seems decent in visible areas but a little light in other areas such as the underside and ash opening cover. Cooking on it was good I used charcoal briquettes and the heat seemed even across the grate and it hovered around 300-350 degrees. None of the food stuck to the grate and it cleaned pretty easily. I really enjoyed the pro tip on the instructional video about using a paint brush to clean the ashes, it worked perfect. Overall the system seems to work as described, just expect some wiggle room on the grate, griddle, and lid, not exactly the fine precision you’d except from a more expensive stove. I looked into other multi purpose fire pit / cooking combos and it was much more pricey to get what this company offers for half the cost. The motor rattles and vibrates like crazy on turbo but seems to be pretty quiet on all other speeds. The carrying case is worth the money and seems very durable. I love that i can keep everything in the case bundled up together including a wood splitting axe and fire starter kit. I’ve been using Ferro rods with fire starter putty and have had no issues getting the fire going. Would recommend for anyone looking to cook and campfire for a small group like a family of 4.

Amazing! I was skeptical at first but it actually turns smokeless once you get the fire going. The fan on low setting get your fire started pretty much instantly. Have cooked many s’mores and hotdogs on this baby.

For my first test run I brought my firepit+ up to my cottage on the lake, to use it in its natural habitat. When the power went out in a windstorm, I was blessed to have it with me! I cooked a bacon and eggs breakfast for my family using the cast iron griddle and then kept a fire going for hours. This thing is amazing and even better than I imagined!
